Biweekly payday calendar 2027: every payday for all 14 schedules

All 26 (or 27) biweekly paydays in 2027 for each of the fourteen possible schedules, laid out by month with the three-paycheck months marked. Find the row that starts on your first 2027 payday.

A biweekly cycle repeats every fourteen days, so there are exactly fourteen possible 2027 pay schedules and every one of them is below. Your row is the one whose first date is your first payday of 2027. If you only know your last payday of 2026, add fourteen days to it.

Each cell holds the day numbers you are paid on in that month. Cells with three of them are the three-paycheck months, and they are marked.

The row with 27

A year is 52 weeks and one day, so the schedule that pays on January 1, 2027 catches a 27th payday on December 31, 2027, still inside the year. It is the only one; the other thirteen get 26. January 1 is a bank holiday, and an employer that pays the day before moves that first check into 2026, which changes the count. The 27 pay periods page goes through what that does to your year.

Reading the marked cells

Two months in every row hold three scheduled paydays rather than two. That changes the timing of cash flow, but it does not create extra annual income or guarantee that the third paycheck is available to spend. Check your bills, deductions and other obligations before using it for another goal. The third paycheck guide is about what to do with it.

Work out your per-paycheck amounts

Paid weekly or twice a month instead

Weekly pay has its own version of this, with five-paycheck months in place of three-paycheck ones; the 2027 weekly page has the seven schedules. Semi-monthly pay is two fixed dates a month, 24 a year, and does not vary at all.

How these dates were produced

Every date in the grid is computed from the pay cycle at build time rather than typed in, and the arithmetic is covered by unit tests including the year-boundary and month-boundary cases. Dates are calculated in UTC so they do not shift with the reader’s timezone. Paydays that fall on a holiday are shown on the calendar date; whether your employer pays early on those is their policy.

All amounts are computed in integer cents and rounded up when splitting a bill across paychecks, so a plan never funds a bill short. Pay-period counts follow the calendar: 52 weekly, 26 biweekly, 24 semi-monthly, 12 monthly. Written by Larder, makers of an envelope budgeting app for iPhone. Last reviewed .
