A6 is 105 by 148 millimetres, or 4.1 by 5.8 inches — a quarter of an A4 page, and the size most cash-envelope binders take. The cards here print four to a sheet of US Letter, so cutting on the lines gives you four inserts a sheet without needing A4 paper.
